I can't find location of plasmid pSB4A5, was it in the 2007 plates?

    Hi,
    I'm looking for a low copy number, Amp plasmid, Reshma recommended pSB4A5 http://parts.mit.edu/registry/index.php/Part:pSB4A5 but it doesn't look like it is in the kits, can you confirm?

    Hi John,

    pSB4A5 actually was in the plates. When you're searching for plasmids you have to actually search for the part that is in the plasmid. In most cases that is BBa_P1010 but for Reshma's new vectors, she used BBa_I52002 or BBa_I52001. I believe she has documented this both on her plasmid page as well as in the Plasmid help page.

    If you look at the physical DNA page for I52001 you will see that it can be found in pSB4A5 in well 6F of 2007 DNA Kit Plate 4.
